Mix around the room until you hear a Math Command using our Geometry vocabulary. Each command has a rule:
Perpendicular= find a partner and become like an L
Parallel= lay straight and side by side, never intersecting
Opposite= point to someone across from you
Adjacent= link arms with someone next to you
Think quick and find a partner as fast as you can. The last person standing without following the command is out until the next round. Last two standing WIN!
*choose to play with or without elimination, or even mix in some of your own commands.
Quick Check
Take a look at the shape that these boys are making. <----------------------------------- Of course they are in the shape of a square, but... Are their opposite sides parallel? Do they have adjacent sides perpendicular? Are they in the Quadrilateral club? Can they make it into the Parallelogram Club? Could they call themselves a rhombus? |
